Advent Calendar – Day 23 – Two Ingredient Fudge

Janette Bright (IHR, PhD Candidate) has submitted a recipe that has been a godsend! Christmas can be a very busy period when we are trying to squeeze in as much cooking as possible. In fact, I feel like most of my cooking takes place around this time. Seeing Janette’s recipe was a welcome surprise for those that enjoy cooking a quick homemade snack.

  • Mix the chocolate chips into the milk and put in the microwave for 30 seconds (full power).
  • Remove from the microwave, stir and repeat.
  • On the second removal, if the chocolate is not completely melted try another 10-15 seconds and repeat if necessary.
  • Pour into a baking dish or tin lined with baking parchment and leave to set in the fridge for about an hour and a half.
  • Remove and cut into small squares.
