For years, my grandmother would have everyone over to make Christmas cookies. She passed away last year at the age of 95 and my cousin has decided to pick up the torch and carry on the tradition – starting with this recipe. My Aunt Linda claims the recipe is hers and so it is.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Sift together flour and corn starch. Add melted butter and pecans and mix.
- Roll into 1-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from cookie sheet and roll in confectioners' sugar while hot.
